Maybe even throw in a few spa treatments – after all, you’re on holiday! So pack your swimsuit and check out our selection of six of the best hotel pools in Auckland.

Arguably one of the finest rooftop hotel pools can be found at the Hilton Auckland.

Located on the fourth floor of this five-star establishment, the Hilton’s heated lap pool is famous for its underwater viewing window where swimmers can gaze out through reinforced glass panels to soak up stunning views of the inner harbour.

If you’re making a day of it, be sure to peruse the poolside menu which includes light snacks and a range of drinks, including cocktails and refreshing alcohol-free options too.

Why not order from the poolside menu? The cocktails are always popular. For those guests who like it hot, how about a soak in the saltwater spa? Kept at a temperate 27°C, it’s perfect for soothing away the aches of the day, and there are also steam rooms located in both changing rooms.

Conveniently close to the pool area is the award-winning Chuan Spa with its wondrous range of rejuvenating treatments. You could try their popular Harmony High Tea which includes a massage – ideal for special occasions.

If working out is on your itinerary, you could check out the hotel gym’s state-of-the-art TechnoGym exercise equipment.
