What is Layar?
The Layar Reality Browser is an augmented reality (AR) app (mobile phone application) that shows you what is around you by displaying real time digital information (layers) on top of reality. This digital information is called a ‘layer’.
Hold up your smartphone up as you walk around Auckland and the application will detect areas of interest such as nearby accommdation, attractions and activities.

To download the Auckland AR application you will first need to download the Layar application onto your smartphone and then search for Auckland2011.
