General Manager - Destination and Marketing
Vivien has extensive executive and governance experience - board member of Television New Zealand, co-founder and General Manager of high-rating youth radio station Mai FM88, and General Manager of Radio Bureau (a national radio sales organisation). She was an executive member at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) for 14 years, working as General Manager of University Relations and managing marketing and communications, corporate and government relations, student recruitment and enrolment, student support services, graduation, alumni, and AUT advancement. A passionate Aucklander with a strong marketing background, she believes in the power of telling stories and was at the forefront of rebranding and transforming AUT as it changed from a polytechnic to university. Vivien is of Ngāti Whātua descent (local Auckland tribe), a mother of three and is presently Chairman of Save the Children New Zealand and a board member of Save the Children International. She stepped down as an ATEED board member in late 2014 to take up her new role of General Manager Destination and Marketing within the organisation.
