Auckland’s AR/VR facility is a community-led test bed for one of the globe’s fastest growing technology sectors.
The facility features:

Project space for stand-alone short-term projects.
Incubator and accelerator services through our on-site operator Industry Connect, and hub resident Lightning Lab Auckland.

Our environment is ideal for collaboration and innovation, and the place to be for local and international businesses looking to create, develop and prototype applications, technologies and services.
We offer business start-up services and key technologies on-site for community use, and enable tenants to connect to international projects and some of the biggest and most innovative international AR/VR players, investors and entrepreneurs – particularly on the US West Coast.
Our operating model includes industry, technology partners, tertiary and research organisations, and central and local government agencies.

Our facility is operated by Industry Connect and located at GridAKL/Uptown – part of the GridAKL innovation programme delivered by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED), the region’s economic growth agency.

If you're coming to visit, there are two parking spaces outside the building. Please come through the main entrance for Industry Connect at 32 Shaddock St.
