JobFEST15 is all about connecting young people with Auckland’s growing businesses

If your business is looking for youthful talent to fill entry-level roles, a free stand at JobFEST15 at the North Harbour Stadium on Friday, 7 August might be just what your business needs.

JobFEST15 connects 16-24-year-olds from across Auckland who are looking for work, with businesses that have entry-level vacancies to fill.

It’s all about getting work-ready young people in front of businesses with real jobs and career prospects.

Over half of the businesses that have already registered for the August event took part in the inaugural JobFEST held in February. This event attracted more than 2,000 young people, while nearly 500 attendees got jobs or the chance of employment.

Businesses from across Auckland that have already confirmed their JobFEST15 stand include Stamford Plaza, NZ Post, Rainbow’s End, Wharehine, Matrix Security, AWF and Downer.

These business know that young people are at the heart of their future workforce and business growth.

More than 1,000 young job-seekers from across Auckland are expected to attend JobFest 2015 in Albany. 

They will be supported in the lead up to the event through free career development workshops and CV and interview advice sessions, and will be prepared to meet and impress potential employers on the day.
