Tamaki Drive promenade

Hire a bike and cycle along this popular seaside promenade. From the edge of the city you can follow the bike lane on the footpath for around 8km to Saint Heliers Beach, without crossing any roads. Along the way, enjoy the stunning sea views and stop offs at picturesque bays and beaches.

Woodhill Forest

Hire or bring your own mountain bike and speed through the pine forest on purpose-built tracks and jumps, ranging from beginner to advanced. Spread over 12,500 hectares of land, this sheltered, sand-based forest is one of Auckland’s largest adventure destinations.
