Seeking top Kiwi entrepreneur to take on Tel Aviv

Calling young entrepreneurs wanting to visit one of the world’s start-up capitals and mix with leading investors and industry leaders.

Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED), Callaghan Innovation, Wellington City Council, GROW Wellington and Creative HQ have joined with the Embassy of Israel to send a young, talented Kiwi entrepreneur to Start-up Tel Aviv, Israel.

The successful Kiwi will be chosen from a submitted video clip, and will get to meet the coolest and smartest companies, techies, start-ups, designers, artists, scientists, investors, and cultural drivers from Israel and other countries.

They will also get to make connections with other global competition winners.

Start-up Tel Aviv is part of the DLD Innovation Festival (13-19 September) – Israel's largest international high-tech gathering featuring hundreds of start-ups, venture capitalists, angel investors and leading multinationals. Tel Aviv is home to top technological talent and multinational centres for industry leaders such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, GM, Amdocs and Facebook.
