Pasifika Festival has the valuable and essential support of a range of partners who come together to successfully deliver a world-class festival.
Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) would like to thank and acknowledge the following partners:
Pasifika Festival Villages Trust
Each of the 10 communities that are behind Pasifika Festival join together to invest a significant amount of time, energy and passion in co-ordinating their country’s involvement in the festival. Pasifika would not be possible without the Trust. For more information about the village coordinators, click here.
The 10 communities – families and churches
The communities of the Pacific Islands represented in the festival have invested even more time and effort than ever before as the festival has expanded.
Pacific People’s Advisory Panel
The Pacific People’s Advisory Panel has provided a significant level of invaluable strategic assistance throughout the planning of the 2013 festival.
MOTAT – Museum of Transport and Technology
ATEED has extended a big thank you to the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) for their support of the Pasifika Festival by closing both museum sites (Great North Road and Meola Road) during the festival weekend to provide additional parking for stallholders and attendees.
The Museum will resume operations on Monday 11 March and continue the busy schedule already planned for March, which includes an Aviation-themed month of celebration as well as the ratepayer free entry period for Auckland North and West residents (visit www.motat.org.nz for details and terms).
Auckland Zoo and Pasifika Festival have partnered up to put together a special deal for attendees at this year’s festival. We can't say much more, but keep an eye out for the Auckland Zoo at Pasifika. The Zoo will be open on both the 9th and 10th of March (Pasifika dates) from 9.30am till 5.30pm.
