Students are the heart of our school and they continue to enjoy success across the wide range of opportunities on offer, displaying pride and commitment. Our vision is “Working closely with our community to grow high-achieving young men and women with the character, confidence and qualifications for future success.” We provide a safe and caring environment to which our students want to belong. Our motto "virtus caelum recludit" (character opens the way to the heavens), reflects the overall goal of the college in building young men and women of character, aspiring to the greatest heights in their own achievement, yet still prepared to serve the wider community. Some of our most famous Alumni include All Blacks rugby legend, Keven Mealamu, world famous musical trio, Sole Mio and University of Auckland Professor and Neuroscientist, Dr Donna Addis and the late Professor Dr Andrew Pullan.
