Marist College offers a holistic learning experience in a culturally diverse school with a small number of International Students in a nurturing, kind and supportive atmosphere.
Our students are personally known and become well rounded successful learners and young women.
We understand the learning needs of girls and provide a safe and friendly environment that builds confidence in our students to give them the best opportunities in their education and future choices.
We offer a broad range of subjects for all our students and with success will enable entry to New Zealand tertiary education. In addition to English for Academic Purposes, International Students can take mathematics, sciences, social sciences, business, technology and a large range of art based courses, including music, dance, drama, visual art and art history.
Students are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities which include over 20 sports and cultural and musical groups.
Our Teachers focus on excellence and our NCEA results continue to be at over a 95% pass rate for Levels 1, 2 and 3. We also have excellent scholarship results which recognise the top 3% of students in New Zealand.
We are a small school with 760 students from Years 7 - 13 (aged 10 to 18) and have a limited number of spaces available for International Students.
We are located close to central Auckland in the suburb of Mt Albert and within a 30 minute drive from Auckland International Airport.
We were founded in 1928 by the Marist Sisters and their Christian faith forms the basis of all we do, this includes our core beliefs of family and a caring and supportive school which strives for excellence and developing skills for life.
International students of all nationalities are warmly welcomed and do not need to be of Christian faith to attend Marist College.
