Computer Power Institute is one of the leading ICT educators in New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region with 31,000 graduates since 1968. We offer a choice of three locations with institutes in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and a choice of specialised qualifications across ten ICT pathways.

Students maximise their theory and hands-on practical experience by adopting a mix of blended learning strategies: self-directed learning under the personal guidance of IT instructors, MSDN Academic Alliance (free access to Microsoft’s e-Academy), On-Campus computer laboratory to support practical skills development, ‘Field-site’ experience for some qualifications, self-assessment and training towards internationally recognised vendor certifications.

All our qualifications include Professional Development, Employment Preparation and Job Placement assistance. Intakes for international students take place monthly with most students graduating in 10 – 13 months depending on their individualised training schedule. Our International Student Services team works alongside Instructors to support successful learning outcomes for all students. More than 90% of our graduates have successfully gained employment in industry.
