Enquiries about subject choices can be made directly to the international office, and ESOL support is available if required. Senior students may enter NCEA to prepare for tertiary study.

The school has a long-established guidance network. The Director, Co-ordinator and Deans of each year level provide student support in all pastoral care matters including enrolment, orientation, academic programmes, insurance, designated caregiver and homestay arrangements.
