NZIIU provides a total package for students from one week to one year, linking New Zealand high schools, host families, tutors, sightseeing, cultural activities and counselling support.

NZIIU is the ultimate adventure for young people, offering them a chance to take part in short term cultural homestay programmes or longer term exchange or fee paying programmes in many New Zealand High Schools.

Incorporating exciting sightseeing activities, caring qualified teachers who teach conversational English, first language support and an impartial person there to help when needed the NZIIU programmes are not limited by suburb or area but can be placed anywhere in the greater Auckland area. All students are placed with host families, as opposed to homestays, where students are considered part of the family, not just a boarder.

Established in 1987, NZIIU is a not for profit charitable trust. Recognised by the Ministry of Education as a registered exchange organisation we are members of the worldwide bodies FIYTO and ALTO.
