Such events include music festivals and parties, plays and comedy shows, film nights, sports and gaming events, cultural events, outdoor adventure trips etc.

In relation to accommodation, Unitec can provide options on or off campus. We have two apartment complexes which contain a variety of living options. These range from studios right though to five bedroom apartments. Students can also choose to stay with a homestay family off campus. This provides an opportunity for students to practice their English skills and experience Kiwi life.

“The best aspect of studying here at Unitec for me is the support, guidance and love that I get from my lecturers, friends, the teachers and whānau (families) at my work centre, and even my homestay family. The people around you are always with a friendly smile and ever willing to help that you get a sense of belonging, and you hardly miss home!”
