Worldwide School of English offers English language education for students at a great location in mid city Auckland. We offer 7 levels of General English (minimum age 18).  Our classes have a maximum of 15 students. We offer Cambridge BEC Business English classes as well as Cambridge FCE/CAE, IELTS, TESOL+TKT and TOEIC Exam Preparation classes.

All class materials are provided free to the student.  We don’t use one textbook because for each level we have developed a special curriculum using a range of internationally approved textbooks as well as videos, magazines, listening tapes, computer programmes, newspapers and other resources developed by the school.

General English classes in the afternoon concentrate even more on the fluency skills introduced in the morning classes.  There is a lot of pair and group work discussions on many varied and interesting topics and exercises to improve listening skills used in everyday English.  Every Friday afternoon students can choose; a free movie in our movie theatre, conversation class options, or a cheap activity.
We believe in international English and our teachers are from many different English speaking countries. They are from New Zealand, USA, UK, Australia, Canada and South Africa.
At Worldwide School you can speak with and learn English with students from almost 30 different countries. This is a wonderful chance to REALLY learn and experience international English. Speaking with Czechs, Vietnamese, Brazilians, Chinese, Germans, Japanese, Colombians and others helps your English to get even better.

We have English PLUS programmes: Farm Experience, Internship, Au Pair, Summer Sport (Scuba Dive, Sail and Surf), Environment Volunteer, International Hotel Management, IT, Travel & Tourism and International Flight Attendant.

We also offer a “COMBO Course” combining study with travel at our partner schools in Napier, Christchurch and Queenstown.
A full range of after school activities, social programme and weekend trips are also organised.
We are NZQA registered and a member of ENGLISH NEW ZEALAND and Quality English.
 
Our facilities include computer room (with FREE Email & Internet access as well as WiFi connections), Movie Theatre and a Library/Self Access Area which provide self-study exercises that are corrected for the student, as well as Listening Posts with tape scripts, computers with English language software and videos.

We also have a student lounge with comfortable chairs, free telephone, and a kitchen with free tea and coffee and an outside deck, as well as a recreation area with table tennis, etc. 

Native language counsellors, academic counselling/placement for further study and airport pick-up is free for Worldwide Students.
We arrange Homestays with New Zealand families and all of our families are carefully inspected and selected.
In addition we offer apartment accommodation at central city apartments.
