Mark Franklin
Mark is a passionate Aucklander with extensive commercial and governance experience, and strong networks within local and central government. Mark has been Managing Director of Stevenson Group since 2010, and was previously founding Chief Executive of TZ1, and Chief Executive of Vector. He is a former director of Kiwirail, WEL Networks, Ultrafast Broadband, and Auckland Chamber of Commerce, and has held directorships at Stevenson Group.
Mike Taitoko
Board member
Of Ngāti Maniapoto descent, Mike is co-founder and Managing Director of tech company Waiora Pacific, and previously founded Tuia Consulting – a professional advisory firm focusing on commercial growth and economic development of the Māori economy. He is an experienced director of a number of businesses and organisations.
Professor Stuart McCutcheon
Board member
Stuart is the former Vice-Chancellor (CEO) of the University of Auckland, and has been CEO and a board (council) member since 2005. He developed his tertiary education governance roles in parallel with his teaching and research career, eventually becoming Vice-Chancellor and board member of Victoria University 2000-2004.

Carol Cheng
Board member
Carol is a business adviser and China business specialist with 20 years of accounting, auditing and advisory experience in New Zealand, Hong Kong and China. The Managing Director and Founder of Hong Consulting Limited, previously she was an Executive Director at PwC and a partner of Grant Thornton China. Carol is an Executive Board Member and Treasurer of the New Zealand China Trade Association, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Dan Te Whenua Walker
Board member
An experienced leader in business development and relationship management with an extensive background in the IT and tech sector, Dan has a particular passion for how tech can be utilised for Māori and Pasifika economic development. Dan is the Deputy Chair of NZ Māori Tourism, Pou Tuarā of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Ruanui, Director of the Centre for Social Impact, and Chair of Whānau Mārama Parenting Charity and a variety of community trustee roles around Auckland.
Evan Davies
Board member
Evan is Managing Director of Todd Property Group Ltd, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, and Chair of the Christchurch Hospital Redevelopment Partnership Group. He is on the Melanesian Mission Trust Board and the Anglican Trust for Women and Children. He was previously Managing Director of Sky City Entertainment Group and General Manager of Brierley Properties.
Ziena Jalil

Ziena is an award-winning business and public sector leader with nearly 20 years working in New Zealand and Asia, supporting the growth of New Zealand’s leading businesses. She has held roles as the Regional Director (South & South East Asia) for Education New Zealand, as New Zealand Trade Commissioner to Singapore, and Head of North Asia Marketing and Communications for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. Ziena is an Advisory Board Member of New Zealand Asian Leaders, an established member of Superdiverse Women, member of Global Women, the New Zealand Institute of Directors, and Asia 21.
