Labour force

Between 2009 and 2014, Auckland’s screen and creative sector increased by 9000 workers – more than 6 per cent per annum and significantly higher than Auckland’s 1.2 per cent growth over the same period. This was driven by significant growth in the creative and performing arts and post production industries, highlighting increased creative and digital expertise.
