WABC has been running since 1986 and has about 2000 members. The club encourages the west business community to support each other and grow together, and offers the chance to network with industry, business leaders and innovators. ATEED is a key partner to the WABC, providing support and management of the programmes.

WABC programmes

The WABC runs three programmes to foster business growth and collaboration:

Business After 5

Join up to 200 club members and guests at WABC’s monthly events. Each month you’ll have the chance to visit an outstanding west Auckland business, hear from its owner or manager and meet other business owners.

Business Forums

Share a buffet breakfast or lunch with other leaders in the business community and listen to a dynamic guest speaker share their stories and insights on topics important to west Auckland business. Previous speakers include former Prime Minister John Key, CEOs from iconic New Zealand companies, sports and cultural personalities, innovators and entrepreneurs. The cost of WABC Business Forums vary depending on location and offering.

Business Showcase

The annual WABC Business Showcase is an extended Business After 5 with an expo component of up to 22 exhibiting businesses. The showcase is a chance to see and talk to more businesses and understand the depth and breadth of business types across the west Auckland area. This showcase is open to the public and free for attendees.
