Julie has a passion for choreography and loves experimenting with the different styles she has studied. Her pieces have a technical framework on which she applies carefully chosen styling. Depending on the musical genre, you may end up learning a fun 80s inspired routine, a retro-infused piece, some sharp modern-jazz or some lyrical flow.
Julie’s jazz classes start with a Horton influenced warm up which includes strengthening and flexibility exercises. You will then proceed to work on specific technical points like turns, jumps, leg action etc. The remaining time in class is dedicated to choreography.
