Community Adult Education: Te reo Māori - Beginners Part 2: CANCELLED

Te ao Māori is an exciting and enduring culture that has shaped Aotearoa society and is an integral part of our contemporary lifestyle.

This eight-week course introduces the structure of Māori language, society, customs and literature.

At the end of the course, students will have a good understanding of Māori phrases, marae protocol and some tribal lore. You will be able to have a conversation and count in Māori, and will also know something of Māori society.

Please note that this course is a continuation of our Beginners Part 1 class. To take part you you must have completed a beginners course either at the Village or with another education provider.

Please bring a notebook and pen.
