Sports stars pick up the pen to help kiwi kids.
Two Kiwi stars are going head-to-head to support two children’s charities as part of Westfield’s September school holiday in-centre activities.
Rugby legend Jerome Kaino and netball superstar Maria Tutaia have each personalised their own ‘Monty the Monkey’ cap in support of their nominated charities, the Child Cancer Foundation and CanTeen.
During the school holidays, shoppers can join in on the fun by voting for their favourite cap to support both charities. Each charity will receive a donation from Westfield’s Community Engagement Program.
Child Cancer Foundation ambassador, Jerome Kaino credits family for the inspiration behind his hat.
“My biggest inspiration is my kids and knowing how much incredible support the Child Cancer Foundation provides to children with cancer and their families.”
CanTeen ambassador, Maria Tutaia loved this opportunity to get creative with CanTeen’s members.
“I support everything CanTeen does to help young people living with cancer and their friends and family. Dealing with cancer is never easy but with CanTeen no one is ever alone.”
