A new tourism campaign from Tourism New Zealand (TNZ), dubbed “Good Morning World”, features amazing Aucklanders sharing their favourite things about Auckland.

Filmed across several mornings – to provide that true ‘good morning’ encounter – experiences like bungying from the Sky Tower and diving at Goat Island have been highlighted as things tourists must do while in Auckland.

The aim of the campaign is to showcase more of Aotearoa than ever before, from the hearts of those who know it best - our people!

In January, TNZ reached out to contacts across New Zealand to help find the most welcoming people from each region who embody our unique Kiwi spirit.

Our Destination AKL strategy places great emphasis on helping to expand and promote tourism products around our region, so ATEED’s tourism team was quick to jump on this opportunity, sharing with TNZ a long list of possible candidates for the Auckland region.

We are proud that several of our suggestions were chosen.

TNZ have invited everyone in Aotearoa to create their very own ‘Good Morning World’ video, to show the world what you love doing in your favourite part of our country. We would love to see and share as many Auckland videos as possible! Just use the hashtag #GoodMorningWorldNZ.
