Rugby campervan parks

Planning on coming to Auckland for the DHL New Zealand Lion Series 2017? Be part of the fan experience at one of our two pop-up campervan parks!

Enjoy a central location, easy access to public transport, and the chance to share in the excitement of the Series with other rugby fans.

Campervan parks are in huge demand during international rugby events, so don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the atmosphere. Auckland’s expecting more than 34,000 visitors for the rugby, so campervan park availability will be limited (please note that restrictions are also in place for freedom camping in Auckland).

Ellerslie Racecourse and Alexandra Park campervan park information:

Two campervan parks have been set up especially for visitors attending the matches at Eden Park and are located at Alexandra Park and Ellerslie Racecourse.

Both parks have a long sporting history in Auckland, and offer fans a unique and unforgettable experience – you’ll be able to keep the excitement of the Series going well after you leave the stadium! Stroll the beautiful grounds of nearby Cornwall Park and take in the spectacular city views from iconic One Tree Hill (Maungakiekie).

The two parks are a short 15 minute train ride to both Eden Park and downtown Auckland, with public transport just a short walk away from both venues.
