Eden Park is located 3km from the Auckland CBD and can be easily reached by public transport, bike or on foot.

With capacity crowds expected on game days, be sure to plan ahead. Travel early and allow extra time for potential delays as large numbers of people head to Eden Park.

Bus & train

Eden Park is served by both bus and train services, which are a great way to get to and from the venue. Travel on trains (from 3.30pm) and special event buses (from 4.30pm) to the game is free when you show your pre-purchased match day ticket.

Remember to keep your match ticket for return travel after the game, otherwise normal fares apply.   Visit at.govt.nz/events for more information.

Walking

Eden Park is a 45 to 60-minute walk from downtown Auckland.

Experience Auckland’s famous Fan Trail on Saturday 24 June & Saturday 8 July, from 4pm. The Fan Trail is a fun-filled 4.2km walking route stretching from Queens Wharf to Eden Park. It will be packed with live entertainment and lots of activities, like street theatre, face-painting and giveaways, come rain or shine.

Driving & parking

There is no public parking at Eden Park on game days. Temporary street parking restrictions will apply in the immediate area and extensive road closures will be in place. After games, pedestrian flow will take precedence and roads will be closed to vehicles until crowds disperse. Forget the hassle of parking and travel by bus, train, bicycle or on foot.
