Elemental Jazz series is set to hit K Road presented by Jazz Auckland featuring key players from the Kiwi and Aussie jazz scenes.
Saturday July 22 features Wellington based producer and musician Cory Champion with his Clear Path Ensemble, fresh off the back of their critically acclaimed international release “Solar Eclipse” released on UK based label Soundway Records.
The album channels elements of moody electronic soundscapes fused with synth hooks and moments of intense free-jazz like intensity all under the new contemporary jazz umbrella currently very much in vogue internationally at present.
Wellington based vocalist and musician Arjuna Oakes will also be bringing his live band for a set of material from his recent six EP’s - this is Arjuna’s final show before he re-locates to London, so don’t miss this incredible performer before he goes big time!
