This riveting farm-to-fork event offers people an opportunity to grow their knowledge at one of New Zealand’s leading cookery schools.
Whether they’re helping people eat well for less on television or teaching food fans how to create incredible meals at their delightful new Muriwai cooking school, Michael and Belinda Van de Elzen have accumulated a wealth of knowledge over their many years in leading restaurants in New Zealand, the UK and Ireland.
During the month of October, food fans can set a course for the Van de Elzen’s Good from Scratch Cooking School where they’ll be offered a delicious morning tea before being led outdoors to learn about the extensive gardens on a tour with with Belinda and head gardener Adrianne.
From starting a worm farm through to composting, there’ll be plenty of time to talk about everything to do with seed-to-table growing.
With your appetite well and truly stimulated, return to the cookery school where lunch will be served and guests can enjoy their meal and engage in conversation with like-minded foodies over the views of the picturesque Taiapa Valley.
