Next, you’ll don your gumboots and head outdoors to see what the farm’s impressive kitchen gardens have to offer. Meet the chooks, sheep and cows as Adrianne, the head gardener, describes a full cycle of nature as you harvest fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs and even edible flowers.
Split into smaller groups, each department will prepare a component of the day’s menu, much like a professional kitchen - and because Michael has worked in some of the world’s finest restaurants, who better to guide you through a recipe and share handy tips along the way?
Then, as a reward for your labours, lunch is elegantly plated and guests will return to the communal table where their adventure began to enjoy a delicious meal and lively conversation as they gaze down the picturesque Taiapa Valley.
