With stunning uninterrupted views of the Waitemata Harbour and situated in the heart of downtown Auckland, Queens Wharf hero events venues - Shed 10 and The Cloud - joins the city to the sea. The Wharf offers two strikingly different venues alongside two outdoor public spaces available for larger events.
As we have no exclusivity arrangements in place, we welcome your choice of suppliers. We put the revenue we generate from your participation in our venues towards creating a welcoming public place and the free events enjoyed by Auckland's visitors and residents who visit Queens Wharf.
The Cloud, a unique and modern structure has become a beloved landmark along Auckland’s waterfront. At almost 180m long, the pillarless exhibition floor can accommodate 120 3x3m booths, 1,750 people for a seated dinner, 4,500 guests for cocktails and works exceptionally well for large scale events.
The Mezzanine room at the northern end of The Cloud is a beautiful room for 200 guests for a meal with unparalleled view of the sea. It is the perfect location for cocktail parties, meetings, receptions, dinners and weddings.
Shed 10 is a 100 year old cargo shed, full of character and historical significance. As an important icon of Auckland’s early maritime heritage, it is now the default terminal for Auckland's cruise industry and an events space suitable for up to 3,000 people. The industrial nature of both main spaces is unique in Auckland's CBD, the uses of which is limited only by your imagination.
We have created a well appointed but blank canvas for you to create your event exactly as you choose. Both floors offers 2,200 sqm of space each with natural light and convenient access. Shed 10 is wonderfully New Zealand in character and quintessentially Auckland.
