The All Blacks and Sir John Kirwan have played starring roles in two videos created to showcase the diverse range of tourism experiences Auckland offers for those visitors coming here for the DHL New Zealand Lions Series.

The first video used the talents of All Blacks’ props Charlie Faumuina and Ofa Tu’ungafasi, and loose forward Elliot Dixon. The campaign concept centred on Auckland being the All Blacks’ ‘secret training ground’. The trio spent a few days filming around Auckland, showing how the region plays a role in their success in a tongue-in-cheek way.

The one minute video was shared online through All Blacks Tours, Lions Rugby Tours, and ATEED’s own social channels, reaching a combined audience of 4.5 million.

ATEED has also enlisted the help of Sir John Kirwan to promote Auckland to the British and Irish Lions fans, recently launching another online video utilising the same channels showing even more of what Auckland has to offer.

Check out both of the videos here and for more information on what Auckland is doing around the Series check out www.aucklandnz.com/dhl-new-zealand-lions-series-2017.
