You will need to register for a ticket only if you are attending the Super Saturday Session at Auckland Zoo on Sat 18 June. A ticket will secure you a place in the Poly Movement classes, plus it will give you free entry to the zoo before or after class.

Entry to all Taste of Pasifika 2022 events is FREE. 

Once booked, your ticket/s will be emailed to you via a ticket confirmation email. You can find it by searching your inbox for 

We would appreciate it if you could return your ticket for someone else to use. Please log into your Moshtix account and click Manage Tickets. 

If you are attending the Super Saturday Session at Auckland Zoo on Sat 18 June, your ticket will be scanned at the gate, allowing you access to the festival. Your ticket can be printed or if you want to save trees, you can show your ticket on your smartphone. Simply show the ticket on your screen and turn your brightness up when it is time to scan the ticket. 

You do not need tickets for other Taste of Pasifika events.

The box office near the gate will have a daily allocation of tickets for walk-ups. However, we encourage you to book in advance to avoid missing out. 

Health and Safety

Most of the Taste of Pasifika 2022 events will only go ahead at the orange or green setting of the Covid-19 Protection Framework.

To ensure the health and safety of everyone attending, we recommend that the following measures are followed:

•    Face masks – these are not a requirement, but we recommend you wear one for your own protection. All our staff will be wearing facemasks.

•    Hand sanitiser stations will be located throughout the Taste of Pasifika venues, and we encourage you to use these throughout the day.  

•    If possible, please try and maintain a one-metre distance from our staff and other people. 

•    If you are feeling unwell or have Covid-19 symptoms, been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, are awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test, are subject to isolation requirements or have visited a location of interest we ask that you stay at home and do not enter our venues.

Accessibility & Transport

Yes. If you require any assistance, please approach one of our friendly volunteers or staff, who will be happy to help. 

We encourage you to plan your journey in advance to avoid busy traffic, delays or missing your booked Poly Movement session.

Visit Auckland Transport to see the public transport options for travelling to and from the Taste of Pasifika venues, and plan your trip with Auckland Transport’s journey planner.

With a registered AT HOP card, children aged 5-15 years can travel for free on Auckland buses, trains and ferries* on weekends and public holidays.

And, until 30 June 2022, you can enjoy 50% off AT travel fares, concessions, and the price of a new AT HOP card. For more information visit here.

Please note, Britomart Station will be closed from 3 – 6 June while construction work for the City Rail Link is undertaken. Scheduled buses will be replacing all train services during this time.

Auckland Zoo

  • Free off-street parking for cars, charter buses and tour coaches.
  • Accessible parking is available in the Motions Road car park, closest to the main entrance, for vehicles displaying a current mobility parking permit.


Mt Smart Stadium

  • Free onsite parking

Taste of Pasifika Amenities

There are no EFTPOS facilities or ATMs at Taste of Pasifika Festival at The Cloud. Please bring cash so you can enjoy the delicious kai and wonderful crafts that will be available. 

Bags must always remain on you, there is no bag check-in available. If bags or belongings are left around, they will be handed to lost property.

You can report lost property at the Information Booths at each venue. 

St Johns medical teams are on site every day of Taste of Pasifika. If you or someone in your group suffers a medical emergency at the event, please alert a volunteer or staff member who will call for assistance. 

Yes, Taste of Pasifika is family-friendly event.

Changing facilities for young children and babies are in the public toilets at each venue.

You can refill your water bottle at the public water refill stations in the venues. 

Picnic tables in the vicinity of the food stalls at the Taste of Pasifika festival at The Cloud make a great spot for a break ( and for enjoying some of the amazing kai on offer!) 

Or grab a prime spot in front of the two stages and sit back and be entertained by the performers. 

A chill-out zone at the Vodafone Event Centre will be the place to relax and rest between activities at Super Saturday!

Bar leaners with stools and plenty of beanbags will be on offer for relaxing at Lilyworld at Mt Smart Stadium. Or, bring your own picnic and spread out on the picnic tables and grassed areas to enjoy your kai. Feeling the cold? Outdoor heating will be warming things up and there will be covered seating in front of the Taste of Pasifika stage.

There will be a licensed bar operating at Taste of Pasifika Festival’s Pasifika Showcase at The Cloud on 3 June. 

Lilyworld at Mt Smart also offers a licensed bar. 

Taste of Pasifika is a smoke-free event. 

Taste of Pasifika 2022 aims to divert 70 per cent of waste from landfill. Marked recycling, organic and rubbish bins are located across the venues for attendees to dispose of their waste.

Additional sorting of all waste takes place behind the scenes.

All cutlery, plates and serve ware at our food stalls are compostable, with no plastic bags used and minimal plastic packaging. 

Taste of Pasifika 2022 is taking place at indoor venues, so will go ahead come rain, hail, or shine!
