For international students

In New Zealand we have a Code of Practice, known as pastoral care. It requires our education providers to make sure international students stay informed, safe and are treated well regardless of your age or level of education. View the Code of Practice.

For school-age children

Support services for school-age children (ages 5 to 18) include access to public health nurses and the School Dental Clinic, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and learning and behaviour services and support. Find out more from our Study Auckland team.

Tertiary support services

Many of our tertiary education providers offer a variety of student support services, ranging from academic help to health and counselling services. Contact your chosen tertiary education provider for more information.
