Elemental AKL is busting out the best when it comes to Auckland’s food and beverage scene

Craft’d Wine and Spirits Festival, which is set to attract anyone from wine connoisseurs and curious wine enthusiasts to those just after a tasting.

There are more than 40 small and independent producers showcasing their wine along with some passionate boutique distillers. They’ll inspire your palate with their favourite tastes and tipples. Book in a spot at a master class, vertical tasting and more!

Craft’d Wine and Spirits Festival owner Sue Nelson says the “little guys” are the ones who deliver wine with passion.

“The nuances of the climate and the craft makers’ unique styles show through in the products and often differ every year,” she adds.

There are many up-and-coming producers to look out for. Nelson recommends checking out some of the returning wineries such as Moi, Misha’s Vineyard, Smith and Sheth and Johanneshof. Alembics is a sensational new spirit that you don’t want to miss.

After tasting your way around the venue, sit back and relax in the Festival Club Lounge, where a range of tapas and wine will be available, matched to the beats of the DJs.

There’s an amazing selection of tapas and their flavours and aromas will be enhanced with a lovely wine match! Here’s a sampling of what your taste buds can expect.
