Home to 1,800 recreational boats, Westhaven is the Southern Hemisphere's largest yacht marina. Cheltenham Beach is a sandy beach near Devonport's town centre. It is also close to the North Head Historic Reserve. With three sculpture-filled gardens and six art galleries, Sculptureum offers plenty of photo opportunities. For a whimsical fantasy vibe, stand next to the giant pink snails or the dandelion, or travel the world capturing pictures of its Japanese and Mediterranean-inspired archways.
Auckland Domain and Winter Garden
75 hectares of Auckland's oldest park are home to a variety of interesting sites and attractions, including the Wintergardens' spectacular plant display and the War Memorial Museum's historic collections. From the lush trees of the park to the art deco style of the Wintergarden, it goes without saying that Auckland Domain is an ideal place for those Instagram photos.

Standing at 328 metres, the Sky Tower is the tallest free-standing structure in New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere. Go up the tower for a full panoramic view of the city, or simply photograph it from the outside – both will result in some cool Instagram-worthy shots. You might also snap a picture of a thrill seeker bungee jumping 192 metres off the Sky Tower – or will that person be you?
Maungakiekie One Tree Hill
Maungakiekie One Tree Hill is a well-known landmark in Auckland that is both historically significant and scenic. The picturesque Domain and the neighbouring Cornwall Park make up One Tree Hill, the largest parkland in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Pictures from the tihi (summit) are beautiful, but when descending, make sure to also capture some shots of the grazing sheep and cattle.

A visit to Auckland's highest volcano is an absolute must for a panoramic view of the city. Climb to the summit of this now-dormant volcano.
