Featured guests are Lothlorien.
Lothlórien (Chris Lloyd and Nicole Leonard) is a Celtic music group taking its name from the magical forest found in Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, the group plays Celtic music mainly from Ireland, Scotland and England with occasional forays elsewhere.
Lothlórien were guests at Auckland Folk Festival in 2000, and their album 'Greenwood Side' won the Folk album of the year in the 'Tui' New Zealand Music Awards 2001.
Lothlórien plays traditional and contemporary songs and tunes, from ethereal and haunting to jaunty and lively, accompanied by tin whistle, Irish bouzouki, and guitar.
Format: Casual performers 1st half with featured guest in the 2nd half.
