Oktoberfest - A Night to Remember.
Oktoberfest is the worlds largest beer festival/travelling Funfair and began in 1810. It is held annually in Munich, Germany and it is coming to the Eden Rugby Clubrooms.
What you can expect if you come along?
You will be seated in long tables.
You can drink what you like but beer will be on special!
We will fire up the BBQ and you can enjoy sausages, bread and chicken. On the tables will be pretzels, chips and nuts.
Our DJ from Going Bananas will be providing German music during dinner and will take requests when you hit the dance floor.
In keeping with Oktoberfest tradition the German drinking song Eein Prosit will be played every 20 minutes. When this comes on stand up, sing the chorus and have a drink!
We will also be having a couple of fun games popular at Oktoberfest including a Boat Race Relay.
We hope you will come along and make it a brilliant night just like our last one.
The entry fee is $20 to cover the costs of room hire, BBQ food, snacks on the table, DJ and marketing.
