These Youth Theatre classes led by Rachel Constantine and Madeleine Lynch (Tim Bray Youth Theatre Coordinator), along with guest teachers from the Tim Bray Productions theatre company will present a varied programme from across the many disciplines of the theatre environment - for example, creative drama, improvisation, movement, dance, puppetry, physical theatre, mime, mask.
Drama classes are hugely beneficial to children, and in these classes, they will gain confidence and communication skills, their creativity and ideas will be stimulated, and they will learn some fundamentals of acting techniques and improvisation. This is a varied and fun programme, with different tutors from TBP, which will introduce various aspects of performance tailored to this age group.
In the final weeks, children will attend a final rehearsal of the latest Tim Bray Productions’ show at a rehearsal room and learn some insights into the staging of the production. We will be working towards a performance at the end of the year, where the students will perform for their friends and families.
