Tevita Manukia (Headliner):
The only Tongan Comedian working in the English-speaking world today. True Lies…
Sent here for schooling at 8 years old, Tevita grew up in a God-fearing household that also happened to be a safe house for Tongan overstayers. It was in this environment that his unique and very funny sense of humor was developed.
Voted Most Improved Comedian in 2010 by NZ Comedy Guild

When it comes to energy on stage no one can put a finger on James Keating. Since he first set foot on stage in 2001, James has carved out a niche as New Zealand’s master of one-liner comedy.
His clean stylings have been enjoyed by audiences throughout New
Zealand and Australia and he has performed five solo shows at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
James was nominated for the prestigious Billy T Award for comedy in
2009, and has appeared on TV2’s Pulp Comedy and A Night at the
‘Quick, clever, intelligent rapier wit.’ TVNZ
A self-confessed SKiwi (Scottish Kiwi) and frustrated mobile DJ,
David first hit the comedy stage in 2010 after discovering he really
preferred to be on the mic to spinning discs.
Since then he’s gone from strength to strength performing in line-up shows alongside some of the best local and international comedians including Paul Ego, Ben Hurley, Urzila Carlson, Gordon Southern, Tom Binns, Marcel Lucont and the late, great Ewen Gilmour.
He was a semi-finalist in the 2012 RAW Comedy Quest and picked up NZ Comedy Guild Award nominations in 2012 and 2014 for Most Outstanding Contribution to the Industry.
David Oakes has a slightly distorted view of the world we live in
delivering clever-witted anecdotes and random one-liners. David
performed his first festival show, The Nowhere Show in 2012 in the NZ
International Comedy Festival and his second show, Scotch, and Wry in
2013 outside of the festival. After a three-year hiatus, he now brings his
third show, Limited Company, touring in 2016.
