Space Station Life School Holidays - Accidental Astronauts

We’re taking the school holidays to the International Space Station!

While we can't create zero gravity, we can show why it's important that astronauts wear space suits, how your taste changes in Space and how the toilet works on the International Space Station. Have fun with other displays and interactive activities and catch a planetarium show. If the weather is nice we’ll try to reach the ISS with water-powered rockets launched at the back of Stardome.

The Accidental Astronauts:
Follow the adventures of Cy and Annie and their dog Armstrong as they embark on an unexpected journey into space! Explore the Earth, Sun, and Moon system with a wise-cracking starship computer. Follow an asteroid as it crashes into the Moon. Bounce along with them on the lunar surface. Get up close and personal with a solar storm and gain a new appreciation of our home planet.
