Space Station Life School Holidays - Dream to Fly

We’re taking the school holidays to the Space Station!

While we can't create zero gravity, we can show why it's important that astronauts wear space suits, how your taste changes in Space and how the toilet works on the International Space Station. Have fun with other displays and interactive activities and catch a planetarium show. If the weather is nice we’ll try to reach the ISS with water-powered rockets launched at the back of Stardome.

Dream to Fly:
Discover the mystery of flight with Leonardo da Vinci, Montgolfier brothers, Wright brothers and other inventors. Experience the adventure and find out how this immense and challenging dream, for which mankind has striven since the beginning of history came true.

Dream to Fly is a poetic story about the history of aviation. The film presents the development of aviation through the ages in an interesting an innovative way. It presents the milestones on our route to conquering the skies - both in terms of technological breakthroughs, as well as our perceptions on flying itself. Full dome visuals, beautiful music composed for the show and a poetic narration make this show an exceptional artwork.
