I liked that the food was shared so we got to have a taste of everything we ordered, it was also a very communal setting. Very nice if you want a nice little dinner date with someone
We popped into Barulho on the recommendation of someone we meet earlier in the evening. This is a very cramped, noisy Spanish restaurant which given the tapas styled menu suits the place. We had the ceviche (divine and the dish of the night) followed by smoky braised brisket empanadas (great), Brussels Sprouts done with sherry raisins (brilliant), meat balls (okay) and prawns (not so great). They sold Spanish, Portuguese and Argentinian wine by the glass, so we tried a couple of those. We finished with the apple desert (very tasty). Service was friendly and very efficient. Total bill $177 for two. We will be back.
