Auckland Convention Bureau (ACB), in conjunction with Celebrity Speakers, are enhancing the region’s business events sector with the launch of a new networking series called biz b4 nine (Business before 9).

The first event in the series was held on Tuesday, 19 March at the Grand Millennium Hotel (which also supported the event), with more than 80 business events specialists, sector leaders, innovators and visionaries in attendance, including several from the Auckland Advocate Alliance.

biz b4 nine has been established to provide a platform for business event planners and academics to network with others in the industry and gain access to innovative ideas and suppliers as well as hear from a motivational speaker from Celebrity Speakers.

Guests on Tuesday morning were treated to a presentation from award-winning international speaker Dr Jordan Nguyen on life-changing technologies for people with disabilities.

As the founder of Psykinetic, an innovative social business aimed at designing life-changing technologies, Dr Nguyen shared his vision on transforming the lives of people with disabilities.

ACB Manager Marketing & Business Events Services Jen Stanton says: “This new series reflects ACB’s commitment to adding value within the business events sector, ensuring that the Auckland region remains competitive in the international market.

“It was fantastic to see such a strong attendance this week, with business events leaders establishing new connections and gaining insight into the thinking from a world-class expert in his field.”

Due to the success of this inaugural event, ACB and Celebrity Speakers are putting together an exciting and diverse programme of future biz b4 nine events. If you are interested in attending the next event email – [email protected] or talk to us on +64 9 365 0592.
