This lockdown the humble picnic has been transformed into something exceptional so why not partake in some lockdown reconnaissance and sample the catering some of our favourite places in Auckland have on offer.
Pick up your box of delights from Park Hyatt or Cordis and take to your favourite picnic spot, or soak in the view (and perhaps a wine or two) at Kauri Bay Boomrock, Bracu or Sculptureum.
Park Hyatt Auckland
Includes a combination of five sweet and five savoury treats and a choice of tea from $55 per person.
Upgrade to a Luxe or Extravaganza to include Champagne. A Vegetarian option is also available.
Cordis Auckland
Enjoy a delectable spread of handcrafted sweets, savouries and scones plus your choice of luxury tea for
$55 per person. Option to add Champagne or Sparkling wine. A vegan option is also available on
request.
Kauri Bay Boomrock
It’s the final weekend to experience Kauri Bay Boomrock’s picnic. Available on Friday, Saturday and
Sunday with 2hr timeslots between 10am and 7.30 pm, there is also a back up wet weather option in
case of inclement weather. $260 for 4 people (additional $30pp) including a grazing board. BYO
beverages or contactless beverages available on site.

Bracu
Eight picnic locations have been carefully selected around the Bracu Estate grounds to ensure social
distancing. The picnic menu is $220 for four people (additional $55pp) and includes a range of ‘picnic
delights’ Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.
Sculptureum
Enjoy a picnic hamper from Rothko in a designated spot in the sculpture gardens. Choose from the Palm
garden, front lawn whale garden or classical garden. Hampers are $45 per adult and $15 per child
