This lamb-centric, beer-matched meal is putting the ‘baa’ into one of Auckland’s popular bars. Head on down to Churly’s Brewpub & Eatery in Mt Eden for a masterclass in meat .
Designed as a feast for all the senses, respected butcher Hannah Miller Childs – AKA A Lady Butcher – will guide you through the every part of the process of butchering a lamb from nose to tail.
As you go, Childs will also explain where the food on your plate comes from and how best to prepare it.
Alongside your lamb, the team at Behemoth Brewing will share a selection of beers to match each dish, telling tales about each brew as they go.
This conscious culinary event is as much about the philosophy of food as it is about great taste. A riveting beer and butchery demonstration that will be as educational as it is entertaining.
