Downtown Auckland has plenty of great coffee spots! We recommend exploring Britomart, the Viaduct or Commercial Bay, all just a short walk from the wharf, where you’ll find a variety of excellent cafés.

New Zealanders love their coffee - especially a Flat White - however most classic cafes around the city open early and close around 3.00pm. For late afternoon and evening coffee, consider spots like Miann, Reunion, Federal Delicatessen or Depot. Giapo also offers coffee and is open late, and most restaurants/bars will offer coffee also.
