There are regular bus services to and from the city from locations across Auckland. Final services are generally between 11pm and 12am (midnight).

If you are driving to the festival, please consider there may be queues on arrival and departure at nearby parking buildings during peak times of the festival. We recommend the use of park & ride facilities around Auckland.

There are regular train services to Britomart Train Station, located at the bottom of Queen Street, a 15 to 20 minute walk to Aotea Square.

For the week of Diwali, enjoy the Terrace Diwali Thali (pictured). Available from Monday 3rd to Sunday 9th October.
Experience the largest vegetarian festival in New Zealand with an array of food vendors offering mouth-watering Indian dishes including Pakora (pictured), Pav Bhaji, and Kulfi.
Container in the Square Café
Two diwali-inspired dishes will be on offer including Kawa kawa Paneer Kati Roll (cottage cheese roll) & Malpua Rabdi (dessert). Available only on the weekend.
