If you’re visiting Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and seeking something authentic, transformative, and deeply local, this is the experience that will stay with you long after you return home.
Walking Between Worlds offers immersive, educational Indigenous experiences based at a traditional tribal meeting ground in Auckland, tailored for private groups, conference delegates, and visiting teams.
Whether during downtime or post-event, we create powerful, lasting moments that honour the depth and richness of Māori culture.
Step beyond the conference room and into a world shaped by centuries of tradition, storytelling, and community. This isn’t a performance, it’s a living, breathing expression of culture, shared by those who carry it.
Set within a working tribal meeting grounds just 25 minutes from Auckland CBD, this full-day experience begins with a formal pōwhiri (welcome ceremony), followed by traditional engagement, experiential learning, shared kai (catered lunch), and hands-on cultural activities including tikanga (customs) and kōrero tuku iho (oral histories).
Perfect for corporate groups, study tours, or post-conference excursions, this is your opportunity to participate, reflect, and leave with more than photos, but a real insight into creating meaningful indigenous connections, that are embedded with a stronger sense of place.
