I live for the bread here, especially the sour dough. Hard crunchy exterior with such a moist wholesome inside. Rekindled my love and appreciation for plain bread. The lads here are so friendly too, overall just a great place to buy from.

Beef and kimchi sausage roll was one of unique taste I ever found and their artisan breads are amazing indeed. I enjoy their soy flatwhite coffee that goes well with baked goods

I decided to try Wild Wheat after I saw on their website they use simple ingredients in their breads and I think they offer a better variety/quality of food compared with Bakers Delight. It's true the Almond Croissant is worth visiting for I ate it before I could take a picture haha the Rhubarb Brulee was also delicious the pictures don't do it justice. The sour dough breads are really nice too with some warm butter or soup. Everything is laid out well and the shop is cosy. I'd say Wild Wheat is the closest thing we have to a French bakery in Howick but the customer service is not French, it's kiwi, they are polite and pleasant.
