Basu Lounge 巴蜀风, Takapuna

Absolutely loved this place. Came here with some mates we had to wait outside since it was packed and no seats. (Which makes sense since it was that damn good) Service is standard (dont come here expecting 5 star service) but the food came out real quick and was hot and fresh. I was extremely surprised with the portion sizes they were amazing!!! And the food itself was so damn good. I ordered the noodle soup - beef and my mates order other dry noodles. We also had dumplings and man were they divine. Definitely would come here again! Might even take the drive and just get takeaways if too busy. Be aware its pre spicy we ordered medium but man it gave us a punch haha. And portion sizes wre definitely worth the price.

There chicken dumplings were amazing and the sauce tha it came dipped in already is to die for! Just so amazing - the hot chilli soy sauce is perfectly balanced. Totally recommend this place. The place is always packed with customers. Only would recommend the lady at the counter does not smile as if she is angry.. otherwise the servicw is fantastic!
