Not to be missed - the keynote Matariki Festival Day occupies Auckland Town Hall to celebrate Matariki through pūrākau (storytelling), kai (food), kōrero (discussion) and toi Māori (mastery of Māori crafts and activities).
Highlights include kapa haka with Ngā Puna o Waiorea, and performances from NZ Dance Company and Jordyn with a Why.
From 12-6pm, 14 July at Auckland Town Hall.

Auckland Town Hall is opposite Aotea Square on Queen Street. This is along a main bus route and takes about 17-20 minutes to walk from Waitematā Station and the ferry terminal. There is parking available at the Civic carpark which brings you right to the back entrance of the venue.
