LIVE Day: Trams is one of our most popular events, with all things tram ready to roll!

MOTAT has an impressive collection of operational trams meticulously restored and maintained in our Tram Workshop. The fleet includes the stunning Tram 47, a double-decker affectionately known as 'Big Ben', a rare steam-powered Tram 100, and several Australian and New Zealand heritage electric trams.

There will be loads more going on around the museum including the Live Day classics such as the Lollyman, backyard games, Print Shop, Schoolhouse lessons, live music and heaps more!

We recommend parking outside the Aviation Hall and enjoying the free heritage tram ride between sites.
